Job Description: Maintenance Technical Manager Location: Dyersberg TN Relocation is paid Resume to: marilyn@e-proact.com Job Description Job Description The Maintenance Technical Manager is directly responsible for all manufacturing equipment, engineering requirements, and maintenance operations to ensure the high standards and expectations of food safety, quality, and performance are achieved. Key Skills and Responsibilities: • Manage and be responsible for all technical employees and their activities in Electrical/Technical Maintenance, ensuring that all requirements of production are met in terms of quality, quantity, dates, efficiency, and cost. • Oversees the Development, implementation and maintaining of preventive/predictive maintenance programs for the operations plant and equipment. • Maintain effective liaison with outside suppliers, vendors, equipment manufacturers and contractors as well as supervise external contractors needed for project completion. • Develops, fabricates parts, modifies and/or makes operational equipment for Industrial Operations. • Effectively schedules and staffs project work to ensure that targeted completion dates are met. • Develops departmental budgets and operates within approved budget allocations. • Develops, implements and maintains an adequate inventory of parts and material to meet the Operations needs. • Must know and follow ISO-14001-2015 and TQM procedures associated with the position including implementing and insuring adherence to environmental regulations for health, safety and environmental protection. Qualifications Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred) • Five to ten years’ experience in Maintenance and/or Engineering manager role in a food manufacturing plant. • Should be highly motivated and capable of taking initiative to react to emergencies when called upon • Exceptional organizing, communication, and leadership skills. • Boiler Certification preferred. • Experience with Krones equipment Other Requirements: • Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, ERP and MMS). • Experience installing, programming and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives, and all types of AC and DC electrical and mechanical equipment. • Knowledge of local, state and federal electric codes. • Able to read and make proper installations of complex electrical circuits from wiring diagrams.
