Territory Sales Manager

Location Houston TX

 

The Hunter Purpose:

Hunt for new opportunities and build a customer base. Retain and develop existing portfolio if provided.  Build and grow their pipeline which then translates in revenue growth through cold calling and making appointments.  (90% Hunter) 10% farmer

 

The Hunter Duties:

This is a very dynamic role.  The Hunter will be responsible to handle various aspects related to the accounts. Role details are found below; our company offers the opportunity for six figure earnings.

 

Hunter

  • Require at least 50 conversation a day, business to business outbound calls.  Those calls include cold calls, following up on prospects, customer retention.

  • Use the search engines to generate leads like; Switch board, yahoo or google.

  • Each Hunter is provided with their territories for cold calling.

  • Each Hunter will be presented with a quota for new accounts that need to be acquired monthly and a dollar amount.

  • Have highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of any organization.

  • Qualify the prospect and make the introduction.

  • Set appointments with prospects whether to meet with them face to face if they are local or to book their time for a presentation over the phone.

  • Have a consultative selling approach.

  • During those calls we are to identify the prospects pain and be able to present them with the solutions hence a sale.

  • To be able to build and manage a prospect sheet.

 

Manage and grow newly acquired accounts

  • Handel inbound calls.

  • Have strong time management skills and be able to manage multiple accounts.

  • Monitor and analyze each account performance to be able to identify growth.

  • Prepare a yearly business plan – Business plans include a Portfolio performance analysis for the present year and projection for the coming year.

  • Inform Existing clients with all new product coming in.

  • Inquire and uncover their needs for new product that we can research and evaluate for production.

  • Answer their emails and questions in a timely manner.

  

Development and training

  • Participate in all training provided by the company.

  • Practice and develop skills

  • Attend workshops, seminars or conference if available upon approval.

 

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience (at least 2 years business to business sales) required.

  • Proven track record of ability to sell and develop business accounts

  • Previous experience or knowledge of Voice and Data business is a plus

  • Must be able to show demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

  • Must have a strong understanding of sales principles and territorial management

  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and able to demonstrate excellent customer service and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in the use of Excel, word and power point.

  • Must have strong work ethic
