Outside Oil & Gas Equipment Sales Representative

Preferred candidates will have a background in the marketing and sales of new and repair well-service pumping equipment.  Knowledge of and hands-on experience with oil and gas equipment manufacturer with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings is required.  Applicant must have a successful history of working with company representatives at all levels.  Candidate will enjoy identifying potential customers; and take pride in developing mutually beneficial relationships.  The ideal candidate will possess five plus years of strong sales/account management experience; have excellent prospecting, canvassing/territory management and closing skills. 

Must be able to work independently or as a team.   This position requires a person of integrity and good character to manage, develop and maintain long-term customer relationships based on a foundation of our company consistently providing reliable value and high quality service.

Job Description Details and Responsibilities: This is an outside sales position that will require significant domestic travel (including, but not limited to Texas, Louisiana, & Mississippi). With the exception of training and scheduled meetings, this position is to communicate to their assigned accounts in person.  Develop relationships with customers based on trust and accountability. Consistently ask problem related questions to support the value of the company’s market position.  Sell the value of the company providing quality products and services that will generate long lasting revenue.

Compensation Package: $50k - $60k annually DOE, commission, auto allowance or company vehicle TBD, and standard benefit package.

Entry Level Outside Petrochemical Sales Representative

Houston employer with petrochemical division specializes in rotating and reciprocating equipment repair and spare parts including pumps, turbines, gearboxes, valves, and blowers.
