DBA - Developers - Analysts - Support

Software Developer/Programmer, C/C++/Java, SQL, WebObjects    Location: Houston, TX

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and build best-of-class applications to support the commodity trading industry

• Define and adhere to consistent development methodologies that are both extensible and flexible enough to accommodate an ever-changing marketplace

• Documentation of design patterns

• Maintenance and enhancement of code base

• Support of various business-focused teams

Experience

• 3+ years of experience with and strong command of C/C++/Java and SQL

• Experience with database development - ER modeling, transactions, and SQL (Sybase/SQL Server/Oracle a plus)
  Strong analysis and debugging skills

• Comfortable with Unix development environments (Mac OX X & Solaris preferred) Experience in building database-driven, enterprise-class applications

• Experience with Configuration Management and best-practice application deployment procedures Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, EE, or relevant industry experience preferred.
